Coffee Cup Marilyn Monroe
![]()
Artists have created a massive image of Marilyn Monroe with none other than cups of coffee.

The team used 5,200 cups, 780 litres of coffee and 680 litres of milk to produce a stunning caffeinated mosaic of Marilyn Monroe at an annual coffee festival in Sydney, Australia.

Custom mixed shades of coffee were carefully lined up in a 80 x 65 cup grid, to recreate the classic image of the ‘Some Like It Hot’ star. From the close-up, the image is merely cups of coffee while the view from high above shows the portrait in terrific detail.

They claimed the Guinness Book of Records for creating the world’s largest coffee mosaic – a big congrats goes out for this creative inspiration and execution.
Here is a cool timelapse video clip of the production.
While it took over four hours to finish, with all that coffee, I doubt that none of the coffee artists needed a breaks.
